Community Partnerships

  • Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN)

    Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) provides support and advocacy for adults and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS in southern Nevada. AFAN works to reduce HIV infection through prevention education to eliminate fear, prejudice and the stigma associated with the disease.

  • AIDS Healthcare Foundation

    AHF Healthcare Centers provide advanced medical care designed specifically for HIV-positive clients. AHF providers are knowledgeable of up-to-the-minute developments in HIV medical care. In addition, AHF Healthcare Centers are often part of the research teams testing new medications to fight HIV.

  • CARE Coalition

    CARE Coalition's mission is to increase public awareness of the effects of drug and alcohol abuse by educating and supporting youth, adults, the community at large and drug prevention agencies in Clark County; thus identifying and promoting healthy behaviors and reducing substance abuse in our community.

  • Communities In Schools of Nevada

    By connecting underserved students with resources and offering site coordinators to guide them through their educational and personal journeys, CIS of Nevada is dedicated to meeting the needs of the whole child from kindergarten through high school.

  • Dignity Health

    Through Dignity Health, the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program provides a comprehensive system of HIV primary medical care, essential support services, and medications for low-income people with HIV.

  • Golden Rainbow

    Golden Rainbow providesaffordable and comfortable housing for men, women and children who are HIV/AIDS infected/affected who otherwise would have no other place to call home. They also offer financial relief to qualified low-income people living with HIV/AIDS by assisting with payment of rent, mortgages, utilities, health-related costs, childcare, transportation and other basic living expenses.

  • The LGBTQIA+ Community Center

    The Center brings together programs, resources, and services to meet the needs of our community and the community around us. They function as the heart and home of the LGBTQIA+ community by making connections, delivering programs, and providing a safe space for health and wellness, social services, arts and culture, advocacy, and community building.

  • UNLV Service-Learning Honors College

    The Service-Learning Honors Program (SH) is designed to provide high-achieving students with an opportunity to complete a nine-month-long engagement in a service-learning project(s) while also taking upper-division Honors seminars. This program is particularly suitable for students who earn an AA degree prior to enrolling at UNLV, to transfer students from other universities, as well as continuing UNLV students who have completed the bulk of their general education courses.

    Women's Development Center is committed to developing and providing affordable housing, economic and educational opportunities and support services to families and individuals to attain long-term self-sufficiency and end the cycle of poverty.
