Project Dinner Table

Project Dinner Table Chooses CCC as June Charity

June 26, 2010- The Las Vegas 51’s are on the road, but we’re taking over Cashman baseball stadium to dine at one long table in left field.  If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to be on a baseball diamond, or if you were ever inspired by the movie “Field of Dreams” then you don’t want to miss this dinner.  The venue is really cool, whether you are a sports fan or not. For those of you who own a baseball glove then feel free to bring it and play catch out in right field.  As for the non-catchers, throwers and goers, hang out with us around third base and enjoy tray passed appetizers, listen to music and sip cold beer.

For you foodies we will be dining on the delectable delights created by Chef Michael of Renaissance Catering, who by the way is a fantastic local chef.  He will be using local ingredients that will inspire us all to be more thoughtful about our food.  The menu will please the crowd (even the vegetarians).  Right before dessert we will open up the “lounge” and casually guests can enjoy the best locally roasted coffee, fresh rolled Cuban cigars (while supplies last) and a few other surprises.

You don’t want to miss this adventure.  It is going to be an incredible experience.  It’s about community, great food and awesome people. In the spirit of philanthropy PDT will make a donation to Community Counseling Center and we will also collect gloves for underprivileged youth in our community through Surgance a 501 c (3) organization, so bring a new or gently used glove for donation and you will receive a receipt for your gift.  Be part of the movement…tickets available at www.projectdinnertable.com
